Assemble your team! Gather your friends, family and colleagues as we take on all 282 Munros in a daring 24 hour window together this September.

All while raising money for RHASS-funded projects that support people who work and live in rural Scotland and preserving access to the Scottish countryside.

This collective effort will involve no less than 600 participants all ascending Munro’s simultaneously on September 21st. This audacious endeavor is not just a feat for physical endurance, it’s a testament to community spirit and celebration of Scotland’s rich rural heritage.

Mighty Munro FAQs

Registering for the MMM is very easy.  Simply fill out the digital form on the RHASS website.

Before applying, decide on a team name with your team.  You’ll be asked for this at registration and your team mates names.  Once everyone has registered, you will receive more information on how to fundraise through Just Giving.

Registration closes on September 1st 2024.

Anyone aged between 14 – 17  can take part in the MMM, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  If you are the parent or guardian please send an email to [email protected] to register additional detail.

Yes.  By signing up for the Mighty Munro Muster you are committing to raise the minimum amount.

No transport is being organised by RHASS.  You are responsible for travelling to and from your chosen Munro.

You are responsible for planning your own walking route up and down your chosen Munro.  Please use the walking guides linked on our website to help you safely plan your route.

Places are non transferable and registration fees are non refundable.

Yes.  Bringing your dog is your responsibility and you need to be confident that your pet has the capability to ascend and descend the Munro and behaves appropriately.

 

 

Yes, when logged into your Member Account there is a button that says “Bringing Children” and this will let you bring both Member children linked to your record and up to 5 non-Member children free of charge. You will be sent PDF entry tickets to your email address.

No, this fundraising challenge is to raise funds specifically for community projects and RHASS funded projects that go to people that live and work in rural Scotland and preserve the Scottish countryside.

View Mountaineering Scotland’s kit list suggestions, linked on our website for an idea of what clothes to wear on the day.  Please dress appropriately and make sure to bring your own snacks and food, plenty of water and clothes for all weather types.

There will not be any toilets or catering out with the existing infrastructure across Scotland.
