RHASS supports World Clydesdale Show as it returns home to Scotland

The Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland has presented an award of the value of £5000 to support the World Clydesdale Show, which will be hosted in Scotland next year.

Taking place in Aberdeen from 20th-23rd October 2022, the event will showcase the very best of the Clydesdale breed across various ridden and showing classes.

With a charitable remit to promote the interests of the farming and rural industries, RHASS is providing financial support for the event, which was last held in the US in 2018.

RHASS Chairman, Bill Gray, said:

“The Society is delighted to be supporting the World Clydesdale Show for its homecoming event in Scotland. Clydesdale horses are a huge part of Scotland’s agricultural heritage, something which was showcased at the 2019 Royal Highland Show’s Clydesdale Celebration.

“It fits with RHASS’ charitable remit to mark this important milestone in the history of the event as it returns to Scotland, birthplace of the Clydesdale breed.”

Ailsa Clark, CEO of the World Clydesdale Show, commented:

“The World Clydesdale Show Scotland 2022, is so proud to now be associated with such a prestigious organisation. The sponsorship by RHASS is of great importance to the World Clydesdale Show. We are very grateful of this support.”
