Lantra’s Rural and Urban Secondary Schools Awards

RHASS is delighted to have sponsored Lantra’s Rural and Urban Secondary Schools Awards, introduced in recognition of schools which demonstrate exceptional standards in rural skills training. The 2015 award was presented to Breadalbane Academy and Eyemouth High School respectively. Breadalbane Academy, in Aberfeldy, built an innovative ‘community garden’ which caught the eye of the judges, while Eyemouth High School has developed a series of outdoor areas for teaching horticulture and estate management courses.

RHASS is committed to connecting Scotland’s young people with food producers and this award recognises schools who share this ambition.
